Mosaic

About Me

I am a mosaic artist, but then when does one become an artist? I believe it comes when one feels the joy in creating a work of art and feeling pleased with it.  We all have a dormant artistic skill hidden inside of us wanting to show.  Having worked most of my life as a language teacher, where creativity is also possible, though in a different way, there came a time when a world of untouched colours started emerging and once they started life became a myriad of explosive fireworks bursting out of my soul.
Esotericism, alchemy , different languages, distinct cultures and a

a variety of lifestyles have lead me to what and how I feel today.
Transforming alchemy, recycling and adding colour to abandoned forgotten dying objects and bringing them back to life is just a perfect combination of these passions.
I was born in Sâo Paulo, Brazil and grew up in South Africa, then moved back to Brazil then later on to Spain.
I studied English Philology at the University of Alicante and have been working as a language teacher ever since. I currently combine teaching, practicing alternative therapies, such as Bach Flowers, Reiki and Theta Healing, gardening with doing mosaic. I am now  back in Alicante after living in Esporles, an enchanting town set in a valley in the Tramontana mountains in Mallorca for seven years. .
